Quark Corundum Farm Fixed Jun 2026
To automatically harvest the crystals, you can set up a Redstone observer-piston loop:
Place a lever on the dispenser. When water hits the cluster, it will grow. Harvest the crystal with a pickaxe and reuse the dispenser to reset.
When placed on top of a Corundum Cluster of the same color, it can grow upwards. quark corundum farm
Because Corundum behaves predictably by growing exactly four blocks out, it is prime for complete redstone automation. An automated farm eliminates the need for manual mining and provides a passive stream of crystals. : Combine Corundum with a stone to create Runes . Placing a Rune in your inventory while using an Anvil allows you to change the color of the "glint" on enchanted items. To automatically harvest the crystals, you can set
: A single Corundum source block will slowly grow a column upwards, up to 3 or 4 blocks high .
When a block is capable of growing, it will emit sparkling particles unless it has been "waxed" with honeycomb. Growth Mechanics When placed on top of a Corundum Cluster
Place a Create Spout directly above your Corundum block. Feed the Spout with a constant stream of water using mechanical pumps and pipes connected to an infinite water source.
Connect all the pistons to a slow or a high-delay Hopper Timer . Because corundum growth is slow, setting the pistons to fire once every 20 to 30 minutes prevents unnecessary circuit lag. Collection Trench
Corundum blocks and clusters will only grow when placed below Y-level 20 (deep slate layers). If you place them in a base at sea level, they will remain completely stagnant.
